The time is right to offer an exhilarating opportunity for a talented Product & Pricing Manager to join their Wellington-based team, and help take this Kiwi success story to the next level.

About the role:

Working as part of a talented commercial team, the role will primarily have responsibility for all aspects of Product and related pricing and profitability, while also providing people leadership:

  • Lead and determine Product & Pricing strategies across three business units
  • Work closely with the Finance and Operations teams to understand COGS & margins for key categories and products and inform decisions
  • Product Lifecycle management from concept to launch
  • Lead market, trend and gap analysis to identify opportunities
  • Manage and drive product & pricing related projects, scrums and initiatives
  • Lead a Content specialist towards achieving 90-day business objectives and to ensure alignment and accuracy between Product, Customers and Consumers.


What you bring:

As the ideal candidate, you are currently in a Product, Pricing or Category Management role and bring the following experience, skills and traits:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Product, Pricing and/or Category management in a distribution-led consumer goods business
  • A minimum of two years’ staff leadership experience in a commercial or environment
  • A successful track record of driving Product, Pricing and /or Category management strategies and tactics leading to profitable business growth
  • Strategic and commercial acumen allowing you to understand the business while always factoring in competitor and market factors into decision-making and recommendations
  • A natural ability to engage, influence and motivate teams, senior leaders and business owners
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, and the ability to prioritise and work at pace
  • Awesome energy, positivity and relationship management skills enabling you to engage, influence and motivate teams, senior leaders and business owners
  • Agility and adaptivity
