Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team in Palmerston North. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring that all payments are made accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Processing invoices and reconciling supplier statements
  • Ensuring accurate coding and data entry of accounts payable transactions
  • Ensuring all invoices are approved per company policy
  • Managing payment runs and ensuring timely payments to suppliers
  • Handling supplier queries and resolving discrepancies
  • Review and follow up PO report on aged open PO's
  • Supporting month-end close activities and reporting requirements


To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in an accounts payable or finance administration role
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
