Job Description

Do you love inspiring young minds and creating meaningful learning experiences?

We are looking for a registered kaiako to join our team! In our supportive and welcoming centre, you will help nurture curiosity, build strong relationships, and create a space where tamariki feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.

About us

Our centre is located just moments away from Papamoa Beach – sometimes we can even hear the waves crashing as they roll into the shore! We have a nurturing and welcoming environment where every child and family feels right at home. Our compassionate educators provide a safe, supportive space where children feel truly loved, respected, and valued—just like they would in a close-knit family.

What we’re looking for:

  • An ECE or Primary teacher qualification and registration as an ECE teacher in New Zealand
  • Genuine care and love for the well-being and development of tamariki
  • A personality that fosters and develops strong relationships with staff and parents/whānau
  • Abundant reserves of enthusiasm and energy
  • Competency in planning, curriculum, and regular and emergent reviews
  • The ability to build and maintain responsive relationships with children and their whānau
  • A creative mind capable of inspiring and igniting curiosity!

As part of the Busy Bees team, you can look forward to receiving:

  • Full Pay Parity!
  • Discounted childcare
  • First aid certification, annual flu vaccines and staff uniforms
  • Full reimbursement for Teacher Registration costs
  • A generous PLD budget where you can choose PLD for your own learning.
  • Comprehensive induction, mentoring and coaching and ongoing opportunities for career growth and personal and professional development
