About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Senior Property/General Practice Lawyer to join our dynamic team. You will guide our clients through predominantly conveyancing and property matters but you will also have exposure to a variety of work including wills, trusts and estate planning, business sales and purchases and general commercial matters. There is also the opportunity for relationship property work if you have experience in that area.
You will be a key player, builidng strong relationships with our clients, mentoring junior colleagues, and contributing to the firm's continued success. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact within a growing and reputable firm.
The Role Will Involve
- Providing expert legal advice and representation to clients on a wide range of property, estate planning, trusts and general practice matters.
- Handling complex and high-value transactions, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
- Managing a diverse caseload, prioritising tasks effectively and meeting deadlines consistently.
- Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers, providing guidance and support.
- Contributing to business development initiatives, including client relationship management and networking.
- Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery
- Contributing to the firm's strategic goals and objectives.

Who you are:
You have at least 3 years' PQE plus of recent experience as a lawyer in New Zealand with exposure to property law.
A master communicator with a knack for making the complex simple.
An empathetic person who relates well to people from all walks of life.
You have a growth mindset.
You are adaptable and self-motivated
