Seeking Community Registered Nurses

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Registered Nurses with Palliative care experience in Auckland, New Zealand. This role is responsible for providing expert nursing care to patients and families accessing palliative care services, ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered.

About the Role:

  • Provide expert and compassionate community nursing care for patients and families accessing palliative care.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care delivery.
  • Support families/carers in managing complex emotional needs such as anticipatory grief and bereavement.
  • Assist in medication administration, symptom control, and managing palliative care emergencies.


About you:

  • Registered Nurse with a current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate or working towards it.
  • Experience in Palliative Care.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to manage complex care situations, including ethical dilemmas and end-of-life care decisions.
  • Flexibility to participate in a 24-hour service and on-call roster.
  • A valid, clean full driver’s license is required.
