Job Description

Company Description
The Infrastructure and Assets Group contributes to the liveability of Hamilton today and for generations to come. We’re here to provide safe, trusted infrastructure to our community and to look after the things that keep our city running. Our work is the backbone of our great river city, and we’re proud to deliver world-class infrastructure solutions for Hamilton

He angituutanga: The opportunity
Reporting to the Group Business Performance Manager you will be responsible for providing a high level of professional assistance and administration support to the Directors within the Infrastructure & Assets Group.

While the role requires you to deliver the usual dedicated support such as monitoring calendars, organising meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, managing email inboxes, assisting with task allocations, reporting, drafting memos, these roles are key to helping our directors and their teams with their day-to-day work life.

A challenging part of the role will be prioritisation, therefore we need experienced assistants who are technically strong, dynamic, and very proactive.

Being proactive in this role translates to looking ahead, you know what the week ahead looks like for the directors you are supporting, and you will be prepped ready for it. This will enable you to be flexible to shift to where the needs are within the group.

The role is part time working 25-30 hours per week so ideal for those who need to work around school hours or other commitments.
