About this role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

You will deliver high-quality legal services to their diverse client base, helping individuals and business owners across property, business and life planning matters. You will be responsible for providing expert legal advice, reviewing and drafting various legal documents, have many opportunities to work directly with clients, and network with other professionals. Your opinion will be valued here – expect open discussions and plenty of opportunities to learn through genuine access to experienced senior lawyers.

What you will bring | Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu

Our client is looking for someone who, first and foremostly, fits their culture. This means you have a personality and "get" people and how to work with them – being a people person is a essential. You will also bring:

  • 2-7 years PQE
  • They will consider varied legal backgrounds – for example, you could be in general practice, or in a top-tier team and want to make a change to a firm where you can have more control of your time and the way you work
  • Work independently while also being able to connect effectively with your team and clients
  • Tech-savviness to navigate document management systems with ease, contributing to the firm's commitment to automation and process improvement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – you’ll need to articulate complex legal concepts clearly
  • Committed to continuous learning and improvement, ready to soak up knowledge in this collaborative environment
  • Current Practising Certificate or eligibility to hold one
