We’re partnering with a client on a fantastic opportunity to join their high-calibre team in an Advisory capacity.

About the role:

This is a Fixed Term opportunity for approximately 18 months.

Together with a team of talented and savvy Advisors and support staff, the Communications Advisor plays a vital role in managing the inflow and outflow of communications and messaging on behalf of our client, proactively developing effective, clear messaging and responses to decisions and developments for the media, stakeholder groups and the public - while also working to maximise opportunities and reduce overall risk.

About you:

You might be in a public sector Communications and/or Media Advisory role with 2-3 years’ experience, or a journalist or producer with field and newsroom experience who brings the following:

  • You’re an extremely strong writer who can produce consistent, clear and strategically aligned press releases, speeches and overall messaging for a variety of channels.
  • You love working at pace and are agile, responsive and committed to the needs of the day.
  • You love working with a range of diverse subject matter and can seamlessly switch between different contexts, distilling complexity down to clarity.
  • You can work independently and with autonomy, but are also a team player who both lifts and can draw from talented people around you.
  • You have a strong political and risk radar and can think strategically about issues and developments to maximise opportunities and minimise risk.
