We are looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join a local engineering firm. This can be on a temporary or long term basis depending on availability.
Key tasks:
- Read and understand all drawings
- Heavy fabrication
- Heavy mechanical fitting
- MIG Flux Core and Stick welding - FCAW & SMAW
- Some TIG welding - aluminium and stainless steel
- Working to tight deadlines
Skills & attributes required:
- Minimum 3 year's experience in heavy mechanical engineering
- Be a competent Heavy Fabricator or Fitter Welder
- Ability to work unsupervised and complete a task from start to finish alone
- Ability to fabricate accurately from technical drawings
- A strong commitment to Health & Safety
