This role is ideal for those seeking to gain experience in the civil construction industry or develop their skills further in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the construction and maintenance of heavy civil infrastructure (roads, bridges, drainage, culverts, land development, etc.)
  • Operating hand and power tools
  • Loading and unloading construction materials
  • Supporting machine operators (e.g., spotting) and tradespeople as needed
  • Ensuring work areas remain clean, safe, and organized
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations on site
  • Performing other general labour duties as required by the site supervisor


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in construction or a related field
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual labour in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Commitment to health and safety practices
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transport
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug, alcohol, and medical tests
