Are you a detail-orientated and organised professional who thrives in orchestrating seamless events? We are currently seeking a Conference Co-ordinator to join our team and play a pivotal role in making each event a resounding success.

We are Copthorne Hotel and Resort. We are part of one of New Zealand's largest hotel operators and part of an expanding international network of hotels. We are known for our outstanding service experiences and a fantastic team.

As a Conference Co-ordinator you will be the mastermind behind the scenes, ensuring that every detail, from logistics to guest experience, is meticulously planned and executed. This is a part time position with 30 hours per week.

Do you need experience? Ideally you understand the complexity of event coordination and have at least 1 year of experience in food, beverage and/or banqueting, preferably within a hotel environment. You pride yourself on your attention to detail and love interacting with customers as much as you enjoy efficiently managing their experience.

Key to your success will be your ability to support the Food and Beverage Manager to promote the hotel's meeting facilities and build a solid client base. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to liaise between the wider hotel team and guests to ensure each event is seamless, whilst calmly resolving any issues.

It is highly advantageous if you are familiar with Opera and per the nature of the events industry, you must be flexible for evening/weekend shifts as necessary to assist with specific events.
