The role:

At a time of business growth, it's more important than ever that we continue to deliver the highest possible level of customer satisfaction. To support our growth plans, an opportunity now exists for a proven operations leader for our South Auckland region.

Based at our South Auckland Branch in Wiri, Auckland; This role will be responsible for ensuring the high delivery service standards and the superior customer experience we offer are in line with business expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Management over run structures within the South Auckland region and reviewing opportunities for efficiencies.
  • Management of health & safety compliance within the South Auckland branch.
  • Executing distribution strategies for inbound and outbound freight in the South Auckland region.
  • Being a point of call for unplanned events and ensuring minimal disruption to our customers.
  • Working closely with the fleet management team to ensure compliance of our contractor's KPI's are met within company standard.
  • Implementation of process improvement plans within the region.
  • Lead and/or participate in various company projects.
  • Assisting with the region's margin improvement and cost control.
  • Keeping our culture alive with a thriving personality and teamwork approach.


Ideal candidate:

  • Proven track record in delivering sustained business growth.
  • Experienced leader, coach, mentor, team leader or motivator.
  • Experienced in operations capacity and able to demonstrate your success.
  • Excellent communicator, sound decision-maker and planner.
  • Accountable for developing business goals.
  • Experienced gained within sectors such as freight, logistics and supply chain
  • Friendly, approachable and open to feedback
