We are searching for a Technical Sales Superstar to join our Onehunga Team!

About us
Geotechnics Ltd is a specialist materials testing company providing laboratory and field-testing services to the geotechnical, civil and environmental engineering industries. We have offices in Auckland, Pukekohe, Hamilton, Napier, Tauranga, Wellington, Nelson and Christchurch.
In this role, you'll be:
- Driving sales with a focus on the geotechnical / environmental sector
- Identifying and generating opportunities, cross-selling products and services
- Maintaining and building new trusted customer relationships
- Maintaining high customer satisfaction and contributing to business development
- Managing the sales cycle from lead generation to closing
- Developing your technical expertise (including digital marketing collateral)
This role includes national coverage, so you'll be comfortable with regular travel.
What you'll bring:
- 1-2 years of experience in technical sales, preferably with instrumentation or related equipment.
- Proven ability to learn quickly and highly driven to succeed in sales.
- Genuine interest in civil and geotechnical engineering, including environmental applications.
- Familiarity with specific geotechnical or environmental instrumentation (e.g., data loggers, sensors, monitoring systems) is a plus, but not required.
You'll also:
- Have a strong desire to succeed in sales
- Be technically savvy with strong problem-solving aptitude
- Have excellent verbal and written skills
- Be comfortable presenting and have effective communication
- Be organised and detail oriented
- Be proficient with MS Office, and CRM systems
- Bring a valid NZ Full Driver's license
