Mō te tūranga - About the role

The Finance Team ensures that PSC’s core finance functions are well planned and executed, and PSC achieves its operational requirements through the payroll, accounts, and through financial reporting.

The Finance Administrator will provide timely, accurate and effective processing of accounting functions. In this varied role they will assist the Finance Team with the day-to-day and monthly accounting of the organisation. They will be responsible for the bank reconciliation, income and debtor management, resident trust fund management, month end duties and other bookkeeping/accounting as required.

The role will be based at our Central Office in Porirua, with travel to our Aged Care Homes as required.

Your approach to your work will be pragmatic and logical, with the understanding that our drive is to achieve positive outcomes for our elders is at the center of everything we do. You will be well organised with great interpersonal skills. You will also have:

  • 2 to 3 years Financial experience
  • Experience of accounts management
  • Some exposure to charitable organisations would be beneficial
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills - we need you to be tech savvy
  • Current drivers license
