Description
Our American Style Diner is the perfect place for those who are ready for a tasty refuel after enjoying the Harmon’s Motor Museum on the Kaikoura Coast. We have retro style furniture and music and a retail section. We also offer our iconic freshly made doughnuts and specialty milk shakes.

The key responsibilities include:
Prepare and cook dishes from our Breakfast & Lunch menu.
Assist our head Chef with ordering & stock control.
Ensure the quality of all meals before they leave the kitchen.
Always maintain safe and clean work environment and enforcing hygiene and safety regulations.
Ensure that recipes and proportions are followed precisely to maintain consistency, quality and cost effectiveness.
Complete all opening and closing duties for the kitchen.
Ability to work in a busy environment.
Excellent understanding of food safety and managing food control plan.
Proven experience as a Cook, preferably in a similar setting as such as a restaurant or cafe.
