Join Our Team as a Senior Service Person - Potential Path to Service Manager!

We have an exciting opportunity in our effluent and irrigation pumping division for a Senior Service Person.

This dynamic field and workshop-position is perfect for those who thrive on hands on and is for someone who enjoys being out an onsite looking after yourself and a TA.

This role also comes with the exciting potential to progress into a Service Manager position, offering a clear pathway for career growth within our company.

As part of our team, you will work with innovative products - both our own and those from other suppliers - and play a crucial role in repairing and servicing farmers' essential plant and equipment. You'll often partner with another skilled tradesperson, ensuring that every job is completed to the highest standard.

What We're Looking For:

  • Mechanical Expertise: You should possess sound mechanical knowledge and practical skills, including strong welding capabilities. A trade qualification is a plus, but we value experience just as much!
  • Licensing: A full NZ driver's license and Class 2 license are essential for operating our specialised 13-tonne 4WD truck and Palfinger Crane.
  • Flexibility: We need someone willing to put in extra hours when necessary and participate in our after-hours call-out roster (paid extra, of course).
  • Communication Skills: Strong customer service and communication abilities are essential for discussing job requirements and managing administrative tasks.


Prior experience in machinery maintenance and repair is a must, with familiarity in effluent or water pumps and a basic understanding of electric motors being advantageous. You will also benefit from specialised training and licensing through us and our suppliers across New Zealand.
