Dairy Technology Services (DTS) is New Zealand's leading manufacturer of food grade stainless steel vats and other stainless steel projects with expertise in advanced refrigeration technologies to service the dairy, beverage, food tech and wider agribusiness market. We employ approx. 77 people across NZ with offices located in Hamilton and Normanby. Our team is super important to us and we know that our success is dependent upon the commitment and performance of our people.

We continue to be in growth mode with a sizeable future work load that means we looking for experienced Stainless Steel Fabricators to join our Normanby manufacturing facility based in South Taranaki.

This is a full time 40 hour week position, worked across 4 days (you'll work 10 hour days Mon-Thurs).

Key duties include:

  • Follow plans and specifications;
  • Cut, shape and assemble stainless steel products.
  • Perform WIG, TIG and/or other welding processes to join stainless steel parts, ensuring strong and quality welds.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Observe health and safety laws and regulations.


To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Experience in Stainless steel fabrication (minimum of 3 years)
  • Experienced in Mig and Tig Welding
  • The ability to read and understand drawings and specifications to determine job requirements
  • Preferably Trade Qualified (however not essential)
  • Genuine team player
  • Quality workmanship with attention to detail
  • Site work experience is an advantage
