Role Overview: The Operations Director will play a crucial role in ensuring board strategy is implemented and will oversee project management, events coordination, and account support. Additionally, the Operations Director will pursue baseline sponsorship opportunities to secure ongoing support for our initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee and manage your own workflow and that of the events coordinator and accounts support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Events Coordination: Ensure the successful planning and execution of events, working closely with the events coordinator to manage logistics, timelines, and deliverables.
Account Support: Supervise the accounts support team to maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting.
Communications: Develop and implement strategies to enhance and strengthen our voice in the industry and to members.
Sponsorship Development: Identify and secure baseline sponsorship opportunities with annual renewals, building long-term partnerships to support our activities.
Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Board and Governance Support: Collaborate with the Board to support overall governance and management of the society.
Impact of the Role: The Operations Director is fundamental to the day-to-day operations, key projects, events, sponsorship, and membership base growth. By effectively managing operations and driving strategic initiatives, the Operations Director will enable the society to expand its influence and continue delivering value to its members and partners.
Success Metrics: Success in this position will be measured by the successful delivery of key projects, membership satisfaction and growth, sponsorship growth, and the smooth and successful execution of key events and initiatives.

Proven experience in project management, operations, and planning
Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to represent the society effectively.
