An overview of this role
This role focuses on executing go-to-market strategies for joint cloud products, serving as a bridge between technical and business teams while evangelizing solutions to cloud sellers and customers.

What you’ll do

  • Execute GTM Strategies:
  • Implement strategies for evangelizing joint cloud products, including market positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans.
  • Buyer/Market Feedback:
  • Capture buyer feedback during cloud coselling. They also capture and share competitive information with product and product marketing.
  • Product Positioning and Messaging:
  • Provide input to help with refining messaging and positioning for cloud products.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of GTM plans.
  • Cloud Evangelism:
  • Champion joint products and solutions to cloud sellers and related teams. Provide support at industry and joint marketing events. Work with GitLab field sales to deliver business value, demonstrate product functionality, and provide a comprehensive overview of key business use cases.
  • Customer Acquisition and Retention:
  • Execute strategies to acquire new customers and retain existing ones through effective GTM initiatives.


What you’ll bring

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably with some experience in cloud coselling.
  • Understanding of cloud computing technologies and trends.
  • Cloud coselling experience preferably in the DevOps space.
  • Experience in driving Go-To-Market initiatives, technical partnerships, or similar roles.
  • Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with a cross-functional team.
  • Intermediate analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Business acumen and a passion for cloud computing.

The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently for residents of listed locations only. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. See more information on our benefits and equity. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted at up to 100% of the offered base salary.

$105,400 - $186,000 USD
