We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Assistant to operate day shift in East Tamaki.
No 2 days are the same and it is a fast-paced.
Day Shift Pattern - Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4pm
Duties and Tasks will include:
Pick & Pack.
Dispatch.
Checking Inward Consignments.
Putaway’s & Replenishment – using Reach Forklift and/or hand trolley.
Experience using a Counterbalance Forklift is also required
Assist with stock take.
Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace/warehouse.
To be successful in this role, you will:
MInimum 2-3 years operating a Reach and working in a Warehousing enviroment.
Minimum 1 year operating a Counterbalance
Be reliable and punctual
Work Autonomously and within a Team environment.
PC Literate.
Ability to read sheets/documentation.
Good communicator and willing learner.
High attention to detail and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Experience/exposure with 6 bay high shelving as the pallets are very heavy.
Must also be physically fit as heavy lifting is involved from time to time.
Someone with a Food Safety background would be advantageous.
Must also be able to:
Take a pre-employment Drug Test
Have a clean criminal record
Have a current valid Reach License
Be able to work in NZ
