What You'll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga

We’re looking for an experienced manager to lead our Nelson AA Centre as a District Manager. In this role you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy centre, while guiding and motivating your team to achieve their goals. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving service excellence and ensuring positive outcomes for our customers.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining strong relationships with the AA District Chairman and Council
  • Cultivating partnerships with nominated AA agents and contractors
  • Coaching and developing your team using effective communication and proven sales management strategies
  • Managing the induction, training, development, and performance of all centre staff


About You | Mōu

Ideally, you will have experience in a leadership role within a customer-focused environment, such as retail, insurance, or the banking sector, with a natural ability to inspire and motivate others. You excel at building strong relationships with stakeholders and are equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to work alongside the team when needed.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good computer literacy in MS Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities
