Are you a Senior Asbestos/Environmental Consultant looking for an exciting new opportunity in Wellington? We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to join our clients team and provide exceptional consulting services to their wide range of clients.


Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct asbestos surveys, risk assessments, and air monitoring in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement asbestos management plans and provide ongoing advice to clients.
• Conduct environmental site assessments and provide recommendations for remediation and management of contaminated sites.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff and liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in legislation and industry standards and contribute to the development of best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in asbestos and environmental consulting.
• Proficient in conducting asbestos surveys and risk assessments, and interpreting laboratory results.
• IP402 and IP404 qualifications in asbestos surveying and air monitoring.
• Assessor License for asbestos inspections, clearance inspections, and air monitoring.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong project management and client relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards, including Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations and the National Environment Protection (Assessment of Site Contamination) Measure 1999 (NEPM).
