About the role: As Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of a distributed network of OSCAR programmes across Aotearoa. You’ll oversee the delivery of safe, engaging, and compliant services through a talented team of Regional Operations Managers and other leaders. This is a hands-on, people-centric role with big-picture impact.
Day to day responsibilities:
Lead the planning and delivery of national operational strategies, aligned with business objectives
Coach and develop your direct reports to foster high performance, safety, and staff retention
Oversee programme compliance, health and safety, and quality assurance across all sites
Manage budgets, reporting, and resourcing to ensure financial sustainability of programmes
Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders including MSD and schools
About You: You’re a seasoned operational leader who thrives in a values-led, child-centred organisation. You love leading people and driving continuous improvement in a complex, multi-site environment.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Demonstrated leadership experience in a similar multi-site, operational management role
Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage budgets and reporting processes
Track record in compliance, quality, and health & safety in a regulated setting
Skilled in change management and continuous improvement initiatives
Ability to communicate, influence, and engage across all levels
Benefits:
Base salary up to $155,000
$10,000 motor vehicle allowance
15% short-term incentive bonus
