Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join APL’s Fabricator Support team who is ready to “learn and grow” and is eager to join a Kiwi company with a real family culture.
We are looking for a technically minded, IT savvy person who has high attention to detail with excellent communication and customer service skills to maintain, develop and support APL’s software offering.
This is a core role which involves:
Supporting Fabricators with any issues relating to APL software (Primarily V6 and ESP)
Maintaining accurate product information in the pricing database
Problem solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
Providing support for all APL fabricators on product inquiries
Working closely with the team to progress system development and upgrades
Installation and training for customers with other APL specific software products

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following skills/knowledge and experience:
Good in-depth working knowledge of Windows 10 & 11, MS Office products and computer software
Problem solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Good communicating, presenting, and training skills.
Ability to adapt to our busy fabricator support environment
Minimum 2-3 years proven experience in Building or Manufacturing Industry, ideally in a support role
Proven industry experience.
Additional skills which would be advantageous in this role:
Software development/programming knowledge
Understanding of SQL database structures/development
Window and Door industry knowledge
Mechanical aptitude to visualise 2D drawings in 3 dimensions
