Join our team at Wellington Airport Lounge as a Chef. This is Permanent Full Time position rostered across the week during the dinner service. You will assist the Executive Chef with the management of the Production Kitchen, including transportation, logistics, and culinary production, ensuring all tasks are performed in compliance with Compass Group and Air New Zealand standards.

Follow best practice culinary standards as outlined by the Executive Chef.
Support the brand vision, adhering to and monitoring all brand guidelines to ensure consistency.
Assist with the development of recipes and portion specifications as required by the Executive Chef.
Train and monitor employees on proper work procedures and production of culinary menus.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety legislation, maintaining a safe and secure workplace.
He kōrero mōu / About you:
NZQA Level 4 Cookery Certificate or equivalent trade qualification.
Minimum of 3 years proven work record with written references to show levels of expertise and experience.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and professional manner.
Experience and ability to lead and mentor staff.
Good communication skills and a flexible approach.
