Project Development Manager Jobs in New Zealand

Our client is looking to fill this full time position. They are a NZ owned company, based in Hawke's Bay.
This role is part of their PVC Shade Screen and Canvas division. They specialise in canvas, awnings, shade sails, screens, and PVC products. They pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to our clients.
They are seeking a dedicated and skilled Canvas Fabricator to join our team.
This role involves a variety of fabrication activities. Part of the job will be working closely with their Heli division on manufacturing some of their PVC products. You will be operating a high-frequency welding machine and engaging in production process activities, including marking, cutting, sewing, and product assembly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate the complete canvas fabrication process for our products.
• Ensure quality workmanship in all tasks.
• Maintain stock levels to prevent shortages.
• Perform quality control measures before dispatching work.
• Keep detailed records of each job prior to dispatch.
• Provide courteous, respectful, and helpful service to all clients.
• Be mindful of time constraints and assist in meeting deadlines.
• Manage company equipment and tools effectively.
• Collaborate with fellow workers to achieve common goals.
• Respect the work environment and team members.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers.
• Manage personal tasks efficiently.
• Handle requests from both new and existing clients.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience in canvas fabrication or related trades.
• Experience with High Frequency welding.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform relatively heavy lifting.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Full driver’s license.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player with a reliable and conscientious work ethic.
