Job Description

Haka House Hostels is looking for an energetic Individual to join our close-knit Reservations & Sales team.

Our mission is to create unforgettable experiences at an affordable price – connecting our guests with nature and each other.

Reporting to our Reservations & Sales Manager, we are looking for a Group Reservations Superstar to join our HQ hub in Newmarket, Auckland.

Role Overview:

Work pattern: Full-time, permanent, 5-day work week - Mon - Fri

This key role's mission is to ensure conversion and nurture partner and group business in addition to helping people build their daydreams into a reality!

You will have:

  • On-point customer service skills
  • Common Sense
  • Mature, reliable and able to play an integral part in our customer service success.
  • Ability to multi-task under pressure
  • Previous experience with property management systems
  • A confident yet approachable sales demeanour
  • A Desire to progress your career.
  • Impeccable presentation, including written, verbal and dress.
  • Youth market experience disired
  • Meaningful/relevant experience in customer service & reservations/call centres & having worked in the tourism industry would be advantageous.
