Our Litigation department is looking for an enthusiastic and talented legal secretary to join our busy Auckland employment law team. We are interested in speaking with candidates who are looking to step into a busy role, someone who is highly organised and can build relationships easily with their authors.

This role will see you:

  • Supporting partners as well as the wider team
  • Taking charge of the team’s monthly billing process
  • Preparing documentation: Court documents, presentations, reports, statements
  • Transcribing digital dictation
  • Liaising with clients on behalf of the legal staff; taking phone messages
  • A wide range of other administrative and PA duties as required.


To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • An eye for detail and a high standard of accuracy
  • Previous experience with monthly billing
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • A positive, “can-do” and enthusiastic attitude, with the ability to be flexible and operate as part of a team
  • A proactive approach to your work - the ability to work on tasks unprompted and anticipate needs
  • Impeccable time management skills and an ability to prioritise.
