The team at New Zealand Couriers are looking for a positive, enthusiastic person to join our courier delivery team on a fixed term agreement within the Takanini/Papakura Region of Auckland
This is a FIXED TERM position and is not a permanent position. This fixed term is for approximately a month with work available until Friday 30th May 2025.
Immediate Start available to the right candidate.
Full training provided, Up to 55 Hours per week, No Saturday work required.
You must have transportation to / from East Tamaki for this role as you will start and end your day at our Highbrook Branch.
Duties include:
Driving a company van to deliver and pickup freight within the Takanini/Papakura region
Assisting with urgent deliveries and pickup jobs as required
The ideal applicant will:
Must be able to confidently drive an automatic transmission van
Have a full, clean driver licence.
Have confident communication skills
Have geographic knowledge of the South Auckland region/suburbs
Have previous freight experience (not essential)
Be able to manage a diverse range of duties
Flexible and adaptable
Be physically fit – Some heavy & repetitive lifting required (up to 25kg)
No prior injuries
Reliable, Punctual and Honest
