About the Role As the Finance Officer, you’ll be a critical part of a small but mighty finance team. Working closely with the Senior Financial Accountant, your role will involve end-to-end finance functions—managing accounts payable and receivable, daily bank reconciliations, maintaining accurate cashflow records, and supporting month-end and year-end reporting.
You’ll also be a go-to person for resolving financial queries, liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders, and playing an active role in improving and automating processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily bank reconciliations and cashflow forecasting
- Accounts payable and receivable processing
- Debtor and creditor reconciliations
- Month-end balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with reporting and audit preparation
- Supporting internal controls and process improvements
- Communicating with members, suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve queries
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a similar finance or accounting support role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel and accounting/banking software
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to prioritise
- Clear and professional communication skills
- A proactive, inquisitive mindset and a team-first attitude
