Mō te tūnga | About the role

As a Safer People – Coordinator - Return-to-Work Team, you will be responsible for supporting the Return to Work Team with all injury and illness recovery activities alongside our Third-Party Administrator and ACC. You will also engage with relevant Case Managers, Advisors, and internal stakeholders for return-to-work activities. Reducing barriers for return to work, ensuring all legislative obligations are completed, managing medical certificates and required processes, whilst ensuring our people understand the injury management recovery journey. . Providing administrative support and coordination across the Team is key. Ensuring District Leadership Teams are kept informed of deployment impacts and utilising District teams for successful return to work outcomes. You will be responsible for working with a consistent approach with the Return-to-Work Team and wider Safer People group to support our people back to work after injury or illness in a safe, timely and sustainable way

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead all Return-to-Work support activities for the Injury & Illness Management / Return to Work Team
  • Build strong relationships across your District/Service Centers
  • Build capability in Return-to-Work management
  • Commitment to excellence and working as a high performing team
  • Be courageous and curious in supporting our people.

Utu ā-tau | Salary

This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $63,526 and $66,312 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
