The Company
Is a leading, NZ owned multi-disciplinary consultancy that provides expertise across civil, structural and planning with a focus on land development for a range of private and public sector clientele.

Due to continued growth they require a Graduate Planner and an Intermediate Planner to join their busy, friendly and highly regarded team.

Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will be responsible for the execution of planning initiatives in the successful delivery of land development projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a full spectrum of private consenting projects from planning feasibilities, infill and greenfield residential, commercial, industrial and regional consenting.

The Role

  • Prepare and lodge resource consents applications
  • Act as a liaison between multi-disciplines to respond positively to Council’s requests
  • Provide due diligence and planning advice to clients
  • Contribute to the processing of Council residential consent applications


About You

  • 1 – 7 years NZ planning experience
  • Member of the New Zealand Planning Institute
  • Understanding of the Resource Management Act and the resource consent process.
  • Council consent processing experience
  • Good stakeholder engagement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to express complex ideas in a well-articulated manner
  • A highly motivated and autonomous individual who values being part of a talented team
