Te tūranga | The role:

As a Business Banking Specialist in our Small Business Centre, you will be part of a phone-based team responsible for handling inbound customer enquiries and assisting with a range of requests to help them meet their financial goals. This will include preparing credit submissions for lending and understanding and identifying our customers financial requirements.

Key to your role will be providing simple solutions for our customer's businesses across a range of banking products and services and proactively look for ways where we can improve their banking relationship with us.

This role can be based at any of ASB's Regional Centres across Aotearoa.



Ō pūkenga | About you:

First and foremost, we are looking for an experienced banker who is a team-player, proactive, and passionate about providing excellent customer service. Solid lending experience across business customers is a requirement of the role.

Success in this role be determined by your ability to effectively prioritise your time while working in a fast-paced environment. You need to be someone who naturally builds and maintains relationships with both internal and external customers with a drive & dedication to work hard for great customer outcomes.

If you have a strong background in lending, banking and relationship management then we would like to hear from you. This is a great role to take the next step into a varied and challenging role with lots of opportunity for development and career progression.
