Hours of work: Part time, approximately 20 hours per week

About the Role:
Assist with sorting, washing, drying and folding, and ensure that our residential aged care facility residents receive their clean, folded clothes in a timely manner. Ensure the facility is ship-shape, clean and hygienic. Provide an efficient, effective cleaning service. Help create a comfortable, healthy environment for residents, while considering their wellbeing and individual needs.
Duties include:
- Assisting with all laundry processing, i.e. sorting, washing to correct cycle, drying and folding
- Following the laundry task list per facility policy
- Cleaning resident and communal areas
- Utilising appropriate infection control measures
- Restocking paper products, personal protective equipment (PPE), personal hygiene items
- Ensuring that all tasks and check lists are completed and signed-off
