About the role
Code is core. Software engineers at Shopify craft the code that powers commerce. They build extendable products that scale the entire commerce stack, from creating the best buying experiences to developing innovative 0-1 financial products, and enhancing developer tools. They fail fast, reject the orthodox (unless ideal), and code solutions that enable merchants to succeed at the infinite game of entrepreneurship.
