At Sage Doors, we're a Kiwi-family owned business that pride ourselves on manufacturing high quality doors & cabinetry components for the cabinetmaking industry in New Zealand.

We have an exciting opportunity for a CAD Detailer/Cabinet Vision Operator to join our team.

You will be taking kitchen plans from cabinetmakers around NZ, and drawing them up in Cabinet Vision to a production-ready stage and then processing them through our system for production. It's important that you have a strong background in Cabinetmaking and CAD detailing, with a high attention to detail, to have a clear understanding of the cabinetmaker's requirements and avoid mistakes when sending the flatpack cabinetry to our customers (small cabinetmaking businesses) around NZ!

This role is a full time, permanent position based in our Auckland office.

The successful candidate must have experience using Cabinet Vision and drawing to a production-ready state. We are seeking someone with experience who is ready to hit the ground running.

You will be/have:

  • Experience in using Cabinet Vision software to bring drawings to a production-ready state
  • Experience in cabinet making with a solid understanding of how things to together
  • Drawing kitchens from customers plans to their required specs
  • Processing orders from customers in Cabinet Vision
  • Communicating with customers to ensure expectations are met
  • High level of attention to detail, to ensure that the customer receives what they have designed
