About the Role

We are currently looking for an Injection Moulding Plastics Supervisor to join our production site in Kopu.

We are currently in the process of relocating machinery from our current Whanganui facility to a brand new new custom built facility in Kopu at the end of February.

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the injection moulding department, ensuring efficient production, adherence to schedules, safety compliance, equipment maintenance, and high-quality standards.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Technical qualifications in plastics engineering or a related field (desirable)
• Strong knowledge of injection moulding machines, processes, and materials
• Understanding of workplace safety regulations and best practice methodology
• Familiarity with quality assurance standards and techniques
• Leadership skills with experience managing a team
• Highly organised with excellent time management ability; able to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively to ensure deadlines and KPIs are met
• Effective communication (written and verbal) skills; able to convey ideas, expectations, and information
• Able to troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively
• Attention to detail
• Great work ethic and a can-do attitude
• Strong relationship building skills

This is a full time position working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:30am - 6:00pm (additional hours may be required from time to time). An immediate start is available.

A relocation allowance will be offered to the right candidate looking to move to the area. Accommodation allowances may also be available for the right candidate.
