This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career as a Transmission Line Mechanic, gaining qualifications and learning the skills that will enable you to provide quality service and workmanship in the areas of construction, maintenance, and fault diagnosis/rectification of all network equipment and installations.



Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

  • Level 1 NCEA passes in English and Maths
  • Current class 1 driver’s licence with clean record
  • Competent verbal and written communication skills
  • Physical stamina to carry out manual work, often in trying conditions
  • An electrical background or interest i.e. completion of a pre-trades course would be an advantage
