We seek experienced and passionate software engineers with great programming and design thinking skills to join our growing AI assistant team. Any experience in AI/ML will be a benefit but is not super crucial. Think of it as an opportunity to change or broaden your expertise to AI/LLM area, leveraging your prior experience in delivering great quality software .
Successful candidates will support an end-to-end pipeline of creating agents - including research, design, development, and testing AI tools/agents to automate many functions of our delivery. The successful candidates will embody the entrepreneurial spirit, possess self-drive, and demonstrate a genuine interest in Artificial Intelligence. Responsibilities:
- Perform R&D in the area of incorporating LLMs across critical company-wide operations
- Quickly prototype, architect and implement sophisticated LLM-based solutions from concept to production
- Work and experiment with the latest tools and technologies in AI
- Work with top software engineers and research professionals to solve the toughest technical challenges
- Stay updated with new developments and research in the AI/ML space (LLM in particular)
Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of software development experience, with excellent programming skills; knowledge of Python is preferred.
- Deep expertise in software architecture patterns and best practices
- Proven track record of siginificant production grade software delivery
- Research, learning and ideating-oriented mindset
- Ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code without over-engineering
- Some familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and similar tools
- An entrepreneurial nature, willing to take ownership and run toward problems
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset for designing, validating and comparing experiment results
- A Deep passion for navigating the dynamic and fast-paced world of AI innovation, coupled with a drive to share these advances with others
Nice to have:
- Experience with the development of LLM-based solutions (including but not limited to prompt-engineering, frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex)
- Experience in designing RAG solutions, usage of vector databases, and incorporating novel techniques like GraphRAG
- Some experience with LLM fine-tuning, including model quantization and model self-hosting
- Knowledge of LLM-related security concerns like prompt injection, data poisoning, etc.
- A fascination with the inner workings of AI systems, from neural nets to recommendation algorithms.
- Having activity on GitHub is a significant advantage (please include links to projects or PRs that you have submitted to external projects)
