Join our dynamic team at Victoria University of Wellington - Weir House as a Driver. In this role, you'll be responsible for completing daily driving tasks safely and punctually, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to our safety culture. This is a Permanent Part Time position during the Weekend
Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:
Drive vehicles under operational conditions, adhering to all road and parking rules.
Ensure timely and accurate deliveries, maintaining the quality and condition of goods.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance, keeping vehicles clean and refueled.
Assist with food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety plans.
Communicate effectively with the Production Manager and Executive Chef to address potential issues.
He kōrero mōu / About you:
Demonstrated experience in a similar role with good communication skills.
Basic computer literacy and the ability to work unsupervised.
A flexible approach and attitude, being a good team player.
Physically fit and reliable with a valid driver's license.
Customer service experience and the ability to undertake non-technical maintenance tasks are highly regarded.
