Job Description

The Company

  • Is a Christchurch based, mid-sized multi-disciplinary planning, surveying, urban design and civil engineering consultancy, specialising in land development.
  • Established in Christchurch over 30 years ago, the company prides themselves on cost-effective and pro-active solutions to land development, surveying planning and engineering projects.
  • Their three offices work on projects all over New Zealand, including the Chatham Islands.
  • Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire an experienced Survey Technician for their team.


The Role

  • Key responsibilities in this role include working with all types of surveys, including land transfer, engineering set-out and as-builts, topographic mapping and laser scanning.
  • You will have access to modern GNSS, Robotic Total Station and UAV equipment with the latest surveying software.


About You

  • Intermediate or experienced Survey Technician with 3 years plus experience.
  • Possess knowledge of 12d, Landonline and CAD software.
  • Be self-motivated and complete high-quality work in a timely manner.
  • Be a team player who can work in an energising and social office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be eligible to work in NZ and have a current driving licence.
