Job Description

Are you passionate about Transport? So are we! Come and work for one of NZ's most experienced bus and coach companies and help us support the community.

Tranzit are looking for an awesome driver to join their Taranaki team to support the Waitara community in school bus services and charter work across the region. We are seeking a safe and confident driver to operate a school run based out of our Waitara depot, The role is 20 hours per week, made up of a couple of hours each morning and afternoon Monday - Friday. These hours apply to school term time only, allowing you to enjoy the school holidays off for travel or pick up charter work for extra hours during the week or in the school holidays.

We are looking for:

  • A positive attitude, excellent communicator and enjoys talking to people,
  • A team player with a high regard for Health and Safety,
  • A safe and confident driver with a clean record, having held a full car licence for at least 2 years,
  • A class 2 or class 4 licence,
  • A P Endorsement is preferred, but we can assist you to obtain this,
  • Ability to pass a medical and police check,
