He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

Compass Group NZ are looking for a Permanent full-time (30 hours = per week) Front Desk Attendant to create an incomparable lounge experience that people value and remember within Qantas Lounge at Auckland Airport. Hours of work; Early shift 04:00 to 12:00 (03:30-12 pm during school holidays), Late shift 12-8.30 pm, and required to work during weekends as per the roster.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

The Front Desk Attendant will be participating in a team that "surprises and delights" our valued clientele whilst providing warm and professional customer service and maintaining a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
The Attendant must ensure that all tasks associated with Front desk are completed, these include; welcoming guest upon arrival, providing information about the lounge, checking-in guests as per the lounge access and providing information about the flight departure and announcements.
You also need to make sure that all general customer service is performed with due regard for all Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations as required. All these tasks must be completed in conjunction with the contractual requirements.

  • Be hard working, reliable, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Be a born performer with impeccable customer relation skills
  • Ideally have proven experience within a 5-star/FOH environment.
  • Have excellent communication skills and a friendly, 'can do' attitude
