Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the construction and maintenance of heavy civil infrastructure (roads, bridges, drainage, culverts, land development, etc.)
- Operating hand and power tools
- Loading and unloading construction materials
- Supporting machine operators (e.g., spotting) and tradespeople as needed
- Ensuring work areas remain clean, safe, and organized
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations on site
- Performing other general labour duties as required by the site supervisor
Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction or a related field
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour in varying weather conditions
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Commitment to health and safety practices
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transport
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug, alcohol, and medical tests
