About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga
Are you a passionate Registered Nurse ready to make a real difference in the Gisborne community? We are excited to welcome NETP Nursing Graduates to join our dynamic team!
In this role, you'll leverage your nursing expertise, assessment skills, and professional judgment to provide top-notch community-based clinical support, education, and advocacy. Our clients have diverse needs, from injury recovery to long-term care, ensuring that no two days are ever the same. This is your chance to shine and grow in a supportive environment!
Sample of responsibilities:
- Identify client needs using clinical assessment tools and develop individualised care/support plans to achieve positive outcomes.
- Provide clients and their families/whānau with relevant information about their treatment and support, enabling informed decision-making.
- Liaise with primary care and other services to ensure an integrated approach to delivering client services.
- Demonstrate culturally responsive practices that respect a diverse range of beliefs, values, and practices.

- Full Driver's License - must be capable of driving independently
Essential qualifications:
- Registered Nurse qualification with a current NZ practising certificate
- Community experience preferred
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with a caring nature and the ability to connect in a multicultural environment
- Team player who can build professional relationships in the community
- Ability to self-direct and manage a busy workload
- Competent computer skills - email, computer-based assessments, smartphones, and tablets are used in this role
