We have an outstanding opportunity for a Procurement Business Partner to join the ASB Strategic Sourcing Team. We are looking for someone who can provide stakeholders with the best end to end sourcing experience, work collaboratively to develop category and sourcing strategies and execute on them to deliver business value for ASB.

Mō te Tūranga |About the role
This is a senior category management role within the Strategic Sourcing team (part of the wider ASB Procurement function). The role supports non-technology business units (Finance, Marketing, Corporate Services etc) but as technology is increasingly a part of everything some experience with technology procurement would be an advantage.
This role has a strong focus on thought leadership and stakeholder management. You will:
- Develop supplier and sourcing strategies to help deliver on ASB's overall strategy
- Lead the execution of sourcing processes and supplier negotiations
- Influence across the organisation to build support for proposed strategies, work through roadblocks and ensure successful execution
- Help monitor and manage ASB's supplier risk position and regulatory obligations with a particular focus on RBNZ's material outsourcing policy (BS11).
- Build relationships with and support stakeholders in the areas you support (including Tribe Leads, CXO's, GM's and EGM's)

Solid experience in a Senior Procurement, Category Management, Commercial and/or Vendor Management role in a corporate organisation - ideally with some experience with both services and technology related procurement.
We are open-minded as to the industry but providing high customer satisfaction is paramount..
Your ability to build stakeholder relationships, lead commercial engagements and deliver results is critical to the role.
A familiarity with supplier risk management and working in a regulated industry would also be helpful.
