This role involves on-call level 3 support of the applications outside of normal business hours as part of an agreed roster. Applicants must be available for this on-call element in order to be considered.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Leverage features, logic, connectors, templates, modules and configurations for efficient application development.
  • Undertake investigation, resolution and root cause analysis of issues within relevant platforms.
  • Work directly with internal business customers to understand problems and design solutions using low-code platforms.
  • Stay up to date with new and upcoming features on relevant platforms, with the intent of introducing them to the Police platforms when appropriate.
  • Provide 3rd level technical support for applications.

  • Proven experience in a similar role and a keen interest in low-code application development.
  • Understand basic ICT programming principles and UI/UX design.
  • Able to problem solve, understand new concepts and learn quickly on the go.
  • Have excellent customer and stakeholder engagement skills – able to break technical concepts down into simple terms for a range of non-technical audiences.
  • Attention to detail and comfortable handling large databases and data.
  • Specific platform certification (Appian) is required but not a pre-requisite to apply, as training will be provided and certification exam can be completed once in the role.
