About the role:
You will be supporting the Warehousing and Distribution team across picking and packing orders, distribution of goods, inventory management and supporting the Production team with timely parts to ensure efficient receivership of goods. This is an exciting well-established business who are experiencing consistent growth both domestically and internationally.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To receive and store all inventory (raw materials, components, finished products, parts) in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
  • To ensure that internal and external customer and production orders are picked accurately effectively, in a timely manner and that all computer records are accurately updated.
  • Package products, components and parts correctly to prevent damage during export and domestic freight.
  • To ensure that all inventory is accurately dispatched to customers in the quickest and most effective cost manner together with accurate and appropriate documentation.
  • Accuracy of inventory recording is maintained when entering data, complemented by accurate cycle counts on parts / products as directed by the team leader.
  • To unload and load trucks.
  • Tidy and accurate placement of inventory in the yard in accordance with the agreed plan and overall upkeep of the yard layout and order.
  • Preferred Skills and experience:

  • Experience in warehousing / distribution of at least 2 years preferably in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment.
  • Stock taking/cycle counting.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Good knowledge of computer applications [Word, Excel and Production Systems].
  • Able to work unsupervised.
  • Have great attention to detail, operational accuracy and a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to be a proven team player with an excellent work ethic.
  • Be customer, results focused and have integrity.
  • Have a current driver's license, F Endorsement & Osh Certificate.
