Robertson & Sinclair Ltd is wholly Kiwi owned and operated and has been in business for over 60 years. We are a supplier of industrial tooling and machinery, as well as running a sharpening workshop.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Assistant to join our small team.

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. Additionally, you will help manage inventory and for the right candidate there is the opportunity to assist in purchasing of product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform warehouse duties, including
  • Re-stocking shelves and inventory
  • Receiving and checking incoming goods
  • Processing and packing orders for despatch
  • Counting inventories and performing stocktakes
  • Ensuring orders are shipped in a timely manner
  • Excellent time management and documentation skills
  • Ensure a clean and safe warehouse environment, adhering to operational safety and health regulations
  • Communicate and cooperate with co-workers, customers, and service providers
  • Pickup purchase orders and other miscellaneous products from suppliers and contractors


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Physical ability to lift 20kgs
  • Valid Driving License
