The Opportunity | Te kōwhiringa
Our Penrose team are seeking concrete workers to help Downer deliver on existing and upcoming contracts. You will be a person who is able to carry out concrete footpath construction and repairs within the Self Delivery team on a day to day basis. You will also be responsible for:
- Helping with safe site setup for your crew and the general public
- Assisting with installation of framework and prep work for concrete pour
- Pouring and finishing concrete placement including exposed Concrete finish
- Working as part of a cohesive team to deliver to projects
- Ensuring efficient use of materials, supplies and equipment
Important Skills | Nga pūkenga matua
You will be a team player with an organised and systematic approach to the working environment. You will also have the following experience:
- Finishing concrete work to high standard
- At least a Full Class 1 License
- The ability to work hands-on as a team player
- Good timekeeping skills – punctuality and reliability is key!
